For over 125 years your local Salvation Army has been meeting the basic need of kids, adults and families right here in our community. Our mission has always been to address the very basic human needs in the name of Jesus Christ, without apology, bringing hope to those that need it most. Our doors are open everyday, offering food and personal items, utility assistance, clothing vouchers to the Thrift Store and ongoing case management to walk individuals and families through tough times. Along with finance support and donations we rely on our many volunteers to continue the work of The Salvation Army.
Throughout the year The Salvation Army here in Kalamazoo, in addition to meeting basic needs, we also host and organize a number of events to meet the very diverse needs of our community. From major food distributions, blood drives, special events and our many holiday assistance events and programs we are committed to DOING THE MOST GOOD here in Kalamazoo County.
